Scandalo Saguto, sequestrati i beni di Cappellano Seminara
Il Tribunale del Riesame conferma il sequestro di beni nei confronti dell’avvocato Gaetano Cappellano Seminara. Restano bloccati le quote societarie della Legal Gest Consulting e le disponibilità finanziarie dell’indagato fino a raggiungere la quota di seicento mila euro.
Si trattava, infatti, di un sequestro per equivalente e cioè fino a coprire gli importi frutto dei reati contestati al più noto fra gli amministratori giudiziari. Non si conoscono ancora le motivazioni del Riesame, ma si tratta della seconda conferma dopo quella decisa nelle scorse settimane dal giudice per le indagini preliminari di Caltanissetta, Maria Carmela Giannazzo, nei confronti di tutti gli indagati. Il legale di Cappellano Seminara, l’avvocato Sergio Monaco, si limita a dire: “Valuteremo la motivazioni per presentare ricorso per Cassazione”.
Cappellano Seminara è finito sotto accusa assieme, tra l’altro, all’ex presidente della sezione Misure di prevenzione del Tribunale di Palermo, Silvana Saguto, per lo scandalo sulla gestione dei beni sequestrati alla mafia. Secondo il procuratore Amedeo Bertone, gli aggiunti Lia Sava e Gabriele Paci, e il sostituto procuratore Cristina Lucchini, Cappellano sarebbe stato favorito da Saguto per le nomine nelle amministrazioni giudiziarie e in cambio avrebbe assoldato come consulente il marito del giudice, l’ingegnere Lorenzo Caramma.
Non è passata la tesi difensiva secondo cui, i rapporti di lavoro fra Cappellano Seminara e Caramma sono iniziati nel 2004 e cioè sei anni prima che Saguto divenisse presidente della Sezione. Così come non è passata la tesi che non sarebbe stato dimostrato la consegna di denaro – 26 mila euro nel 2014 e 20 mila nel 2015 – da parte dell’avvocato al magistrato. Il Riesame ha valutato in maniera diversa, confermando la ricostruzione dei finanzieri della Polizia Tributaria di Palermo secondo cui i passaggi di denaro sarebbero la prova del patto corruttivo.
