Sono 20 anni che lavoro di cui 17 in comunicazione e relazioni pubbliche. Sulla mia strada ho fatto, visto e affrontato di tutto: allestimenti alle 3 del mattino, relatori impazziti che ti danno buca all’ultimo momento, trombe d’aria e temporali che ti distruggono la location dell’evento, crisi mediatiche di ogni genere e sorta, combattimenti all’ultimo budget con amministratori delegati con manie di grandezza e tasche a chiocciola. Insomma tutto il corollario possibile di un lavoro che per sua stessa natura è incerto e mutevole.
Ho potuto però sudare, soffrire, piangere, incazzarmi e stancarmi fino allo svenimento alle dipendenze di un capo esigente (eufemisticamente parlando) ma capace, corretto e puntuale nelle scadenze (soprattutto quelle bancarie) e sotto l’ombrello di un blindatissimo contratto che mi ha consentito di ammalarmi, fare ferie e addirittura riprodurmi.
Ero una giovane polemica inesperta scassacazzi e ora sono una adulta polemica professionista scassacazzi ma ho avuto le mie chances: ho fatto la gavetta, sono cresciuta, ho preso degli aumenti, mi sono affezionata alla mia azienda e al mio lavoro, ho potuto fare le mie scelte, compresa quella di dire che questa vita così com’è non mi appartiene più (ma questa è un’altra storia e, forse, un altro post).
Ultimamente sento spesso un chiacchiericcio lamentoso di imprenditori e dirigenti che si dolgono perché non trovano “giovani o professionisti disposti a lavorare/sacrificarsi/fare la gavetta/crescere/prendersi responsabilità”, perché “arrivano qui e poi magari dopo 3 mesi non si trovano bene e se ne vanno e noi dobbiamo ricominciare da capo”.
Come è possibile? Mo’ ve lo spiego come.
Avete passato gli ultimi 10 anni ad insegnare e ripetere fino allo sfinimento a studenti, stagisti, amici, parenti, figli, che:
il mercato è cambiato
bisogna essere flessibili
il posto fisso è superato
freelance a partita IVA è bello perché sei più libero
non ci sono certezze
bisogna avere competenze diversificate
bisogna essere disponibili a cambiare città o addirittura paese
bisogna saper parlare 12 lingue
l’esperienza è più importante dei soldi
e daje e daje loro hanno imparato, si sono adattati, hanno trovato nuovi modi e nuove forme e adesso, quando li volete ligi, ossequiosi e obbedienti dietro ad una scrivania a spalare la vostra merda triste 12 ore al giorno per 1000 euro lordi al mese vi mandano a cagare.Non sviluppano nessuna affettività nei confronti dell’azienda, vi vedono solo come un bancomat che, al limite, può insegnargli una cosa nuova da vendere al prossimo giro.
Non si sacrificano fuori orario per il bene supremo della società, per una visione che appartiene solo a chi guadagna sulle loro spalle.
Non considerano un’opportunità dividere le responsabilità ma non i profitti, hanno altri paradigmi di professionalità (mi dici cosa vuoi, lo faccio, mi paghi, ciao) e di vita (mi piace la montagna, fanculo te e la tua reperibilità, vado 3 mesi in Nepal).
Non comprano casa e quindi sticazzi della garanzia del mutuo (tanto magari domani parto per Glasgow a imparare come si addestrano i salmoni).
E tutte queste cose gliele avete insegnate voi, in oltre 10 anni di crisi in cui avete mantenuto le vostre rendite di posizione sulle spalle di chi non aveva modo di “difendersi”. In 10 anni di “il tuo contratto scade tra 1 settimana e non te lo rinnoviamo, scusa il poco preavviso ma aspettavamo delle risposte dai clienti”, in 10 anni di stipendi striminziti, ingiusti e senza prospettive.
E così è arrivata la mutazione genetica e siete voi ora quelli spiazzati, quelli con le strutture mastodontiche, ministeriali, che non solo non riescono ad accogliere le forme di lavoro “liquide” che avete fortemente contribuito a creare, ma non rappresentano più nemmeno una reale attrattiva economica e professionale perché a queste persone l’idea di stare 10 o 20 anni nella stessa azienda a sudarsi 100 euro lordi d’aumento ogni 5 (quando va bene), fa venire l’orticaria.
Dove porterà tutto questo in termini economici e di mercato sul lungo termine di certo non so dirvelo io.
L’unica cosa che dal profondo del cuore mi sento di dire è:
loro hanno ragione e voi, davvero, avete rotto il cazzo.
