Milazzo, la città si prepara per il Festival del Cinema Italiano in programma dal 7 al 10 giugno 2023
Nel corso dell'importante rassegna cinematografica, verrà premiato anche Pino Maniaci
Franco Arcoraci, Direttore del Festival del Cinema Italiano, ha confermato alla stampa, nel corso di un incontro con il Sindaco di Milazzo Pippo Midili, che la prossima edizione dell’importante rassegna cinematografica, giunta alla sua quarta edizione, si terrà nuovamente a Milazzo, dal 7 al 10 giugno 2023.
Il Sindaco Midili ha espresso grande soddisfazione per il bis di questa importante iniziativa nella sua città: “Siamo ben lieti del fatto che, anche quest’anno, il Festival del Cinema Italiano si svolga a Milazzo, consapevoli che un evento di richiamo come questo consentirà alla nostra città di essere un polo di attrazione nazionale per la sua cultura, per il suo valore e per la presenza di ospiti di rilievo. Dopo l’edizione dello scorso anno, sono certo che gli organizzatori riusciranno a promuovere una manifestazione ancora più coinvolgente e che anche la scelta della data, ricadente nel mese di giugno, sicuramente si rivelerà vincente”.
Tante sono, infatti, le novità annunciate da Arcoraci, riguardanti i nomi degli ospiti e dei giurati, la cui caratura è di livello internazionale, nonchè l’assegnazione dei premi a diverse categorie, tra cui il premio “Mare Milazzo” alle fiction e alle serie televisive, premio istituito, per la prima volta, all’interno del Festival del Cinema Italiano, in onore della Città del Capo.
Madrina d’eccezione dell’evento sarà l’imprenditrice Daniela Lucchesi.
Diverse le produzioni cinematografiche nazionali concorrenti, tra cui film, documentari e cortometraggi.
L’intento del Festival è quello di valorizzare il cinema italiano, i suoi registi, i suoi attori, i suoi produttori, le sue case cinematografiche, nonchè tutto l’intero comparto ad esso afferente.
L’edizione 2023 del Festival del Cinema Italiano darà ampio spazio, come la passata edizione, a tematiche di carattere altamente culturale e sociale, nonché ad altri temi rilevanti, tra i quali si annovera il tema della sostenibilità
Diverse saranno le iniziative correlate, come convegni, masterclass, l’Escursione Naturalistica Marina a cura AMP Capo Milazzo, ma soprattutto il Gran Galà in TV, condotto da Giusy Venuti, nel corso del quale saranno premiate le eccellenze siciliane che si sono distinte in vari ambiti, tra cui il giornalista Pino Maniaci Direttore di Telejato e tante altre celebrità.
Parteciperanno al Gala in TV anche artisti del mondo della musica e dell’intrattenimento come Francesco Salvi, Aleandro Baldi, DJ Micht di Radio 105, Silvia Mezzanotte, Francesco Rizzuto il vigile di Zelig, Ronnie Jones, Giovanni Cacioppo, Luca Madonia, Mario Incudine e tanti altri.
La conduzione della premiazione con le “Stelle d’argento” sarà affidata nuovamente a Veronica Maya e il compito di scegliere chi premiare è stato affidato ad una Giuria composta da Andrea Muzzi, Roberta Ammendola, Giorgio Pasotti, Nicola Quaglianone, Vincent Riotta, Christian Marazziti, Lavini Paola, Mario Falcone.
“Sono felice di poter tornare, per il secondo anno, con un evento grandioso. Milazzo è indissolubilmente legata alla mia adolescenza e ai miei inizi di Direttore di eventi. La mia militanza nelle radio private cittadine, in cui operava anche l’attuale sindaco Pippo Midili, è stata sicuramente una bella palestra di vita” ha dichiarato Franco Arcoraci, il quale ha aggiunto: “Ricordo con affetto la mia prima organizzazione del premio di poesia ‘Città di Milazzo’ negli anni 79/80, le feste, le serate alle cupole, allora gestite anche dal mio storico amico Pino Ragusi, alle quali erano presenti, negli anni ’80, artisti di fama nazionale.
Un ricordo speciale di quegli anni è il rapporto con il grande Walter Chiari, il quale mi chiamava figlioccio.
Nel corso dell’inverno organizzavo il ‘ ‘Pomeriggio Giovani’ alla discoteca ‘U Trappitu’, di cui tutti i cinquantenni della zona si ricorderanno per le fantastiche domeniche trascorse.
Il primo concerto che ho organizzato, sempre negli anni 80, nella Città del Capo, fu quello con il cantautore Franco Fasano, dopo la sua partecipazione al Festival di Sanremo, a cui seguì il mega evento del Festival Pub Italia nel 2010 e nel 2011, che vide un’affluenza di circa 30.000 presenze.
Milazzo è stato per me, e sempre sarà, un laboratorio creativo che ha dato i natali alle mie passioni e a tante idee, compreso il Festival Pub Italia , riconosciuto come uno dei più grandi Festival da piazza, premiato, per ben due volte, dall’ Associazione Fonografici Italiani come migliore organizzazione italiana.
Il Festival del Cinema Italiano oggi è una vera e bella occasione per tutti. Ringrazio i vertici per la fiducia che mi hanno rinnovato affidandomi la Direzione anche per i prossimi anni.
Ci attendono giorni di duro lavoro, fondamentali per la buona riuscita della manifestazione. Ho sperato e lottato per avere il Festival qui a Milazzo, a casa nostra. Adesso tutti insieme, noi organizzatori, la politica e soprattutto i cittadini e gli imprenditori, dobbiamo fare in modo che Milazzo abbia il suo posto meritatissimo fra i luoghi che contano nel mondo dello spettacolo e della cultura”.
Lo Staff organizzativo del Festival del Cinema Italiano è composto dal Presidente Onorario, ex Direttore di Rai Uno, Fabrizio Del Noce, il Vice Presidente e creatore del Brand Danilo Tomassi, il Produttore toscano Matteo Cichero di Fair Play, Marcello Foti, ex Direttore del Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia di Roma, l’attrice Giusy Venuti, che sarà anche Responsabile degli eventi e Conduttrice del Gran Galà in TV del 2023, l’attore Pino Ammendola, Direttore editoriale, il critico cinematografico Ignazio Senatore, Paky Arcella e Anna Di Maria, il giornalista Biagio Maimone, responsabile della Comunicazione, Gabriella Chiarappa, Responsabile rapporti con i Media, la conduttrice televisiva Noemi Gherrero e tutta la Commissione romana, che si occuperà della prima selezione delle opere da presentare al Festival.
La Regia è affidata a Nello Pepe (storico Regista di Rai 1), le scenografie saranno affidate a Maurizio Todini, la Direzione musicale a Rosario Bella, la Direzione tecnica per il 2023 a Giovanni Grasso Karamella ed è riconfermato Davide Bisazza per tutti i service audio e video proiezioni, Antonio Grasso PVK per il service video di supporto alle serate.
Coordinatori della comunicazione sul web saranno Matteo Mastroeni e Giorgio Scifo della Hi-Fly Communication. La Sala Stampa, in pieno centro cittadino, sarà allestita e organizzata dalla Redazione della TV Telespazio Messina ’89, che curerà , con i propri operatori, le dirette streaming e televisive delle varie interviste. La Produzione esecutiva di tutto l’evento è affidata alla Società Venarc Comunicazione.
Grazie alla messa in onda della RAI dell’evento di premiazione dei vincitori delle Stelle d’argento, il Festival è sempre stato vetrina di assoluta importanza in quanto celebra e valorizza le produzioni nazionali, come i lungometraggi di registi affermati, le opere prime di giovani esordienti e i cortometraggi di produzione italiana, nonché i documentari dedicati alle tematiche ambientali dell’evento di premiazione dei vincitori delle Stelle d’argento.
