La crescita degli utenti in rete
Il primo dato che si riporta è una forte crescita degli utenti in rete.
Secondo I dati riportati da WeareSocial e Hootsuite le persone che utilizzano la rete sono aumentate rispetto al 2020 del 5,7%, parliamo di 2.2 milioni di utenti italiani in più.
Questo dimostra che il fenomeno dei social coinvolge milioni di persone ed è in continua espansione. Si pensa che gli utenti in rete siano in maggioranza persone molto giovani, in realtà questa fascia occupa 11 milioni di persone sotto I 20 anni mentre gli under 20 risultano essere la maggioranza a fare uso dei social.
I più giovani utilizzano TikTok, Snapchat e poi Istangram, la fascia come dire più vecchia si sposta su Facebook e su Twitter. Un capitolo a parte è l’utilizzo di Telegram considerato da molti il nuovo darkweb, social dove è facile imbattersi in ogni forma di illegalità.
IL CATFISH E I FALSI PROFILI
La pesca, l’ adescamento del caffisher, dei falsi profili avviene solitamente nei siti di Dating, primo fra tutti TINDER. Abbiamo analizzato un utente che ha utilizzato su Tinder tre foto diverse nel suo profilo, tre foto di donne completamente diverse, una molto vecchia che è costruita con una sorta di fotomaggio nello sfondo, Questa è la prima BANDIERA ROSSA a cui prestare attenzione. Perché una donna (?) si deve presentare in un sito di incontri con tre foto che non sono la stessa persona? Da qui sappiamo che è già in atto un furto d’identità e sostituzione di persona.
L’IDENTITA’ FALSA DEL CATFISH DOVE E COME AGISCE
Il catfisher usa solitamente o foto di donne e uomini molto avvenenti o foto vecchie di scarsa qualità. Alcune le possiamo già rintracciare in rete attraverso una ricerca sui motori nella sezione immagini come Google e Yandex. Yandex è il più consigliato. Altre foto sono difficili da rintracciare, perché il catfisher le può benissimo prendere da profili privati su istangram soprattutto. Dove va a pescare le foto il catfisher? Un dato certo è l’utilizzo di queste azioni su istangram.
Altro luogo d’azione oltre i siti di dating come tinder è FACEBOOK.
False identità e fake account qui sono molto presenti. Difficile poi che facebook faccia un’indagine approfondita quindi anche se le andiamo a segnalare, quasi sempre non vengono rimosse.
Il catfish gode anche di una certa immunità nei social. Su TELEGRAM si può non mostrare il proprio numero, usare username fittizi, cambiarli e sparire dal profilo creato, utilizzandone uno completamente nuovo.
CHI SONO I CATFISH
Sono persone che anno problemi nel vivere una socialità sana, hanno comportamenti antisociali, non hanno una rete relazionale nella realtà.
Sono persone del sesso posto. Il profilo di una donna può essere gestito da un uomo e viceversa.
Hanno un chiaro bisogno di sfogare una sessualità repressa, omosessualità e perversioni.
Sono persone con chiari disturbi mentali e sessuali.
Creano nell’altro CO-DIPENDENZA e relazioni tossiche e malate che si vivono esclusivamente online.
COME PROTEGGERSI DAL CATFISH
Dovete fare attenzione alle cose dette sopra e a queste altre bandierine rosse RED FLAGS
- IL CATFISH: NON TI INVIERA’ MAI UN AUDIO, NON TI FARA’ SENTIRE LA SUA VOCE, INVENTERA’ STORIE ASSOLUTAMENTE NON CREDIBILI COME TELEFONI ROTTI, PROBLEMI NEL PASSATO DI RELAZIONI.
- IL CATFISH NON SI MOSTRERA’ MAI A TE. NON TI FARA’ CHIAMATE, POTREBBE FARLE ANCHE ATTRAVERSO UNA TELEFONATA ANONIMA SE COME DICE VUOLE PROTEGGERSI, MA NON LO FARA’ NON TI CHIAMERA’ MAI, COME AVVIENE INVECE SOLITAMENTE NELLE RELAZIONI SANE E NORMALI.
- IL CATFISH TI TERRA’ ESCLUSIVAMENTE IN UNA RELAZIONE VIRTUALE TOSSICA MALATA E DI DIPENDENZA. NON TI VORRA’ MAI INCONTRARE IN UN LUOGO REALE.
- GIOCHERA’ CON TE, TI USERA’ PER DARE SFOGO ALLA SUA SESSUALITA’ REPRESSA E ALLA SUE FANTASIE PERVERSE.
- POTREBBE USARE ALTRI FALSI PROFILI PER RELAZIONARSI CON TE, NEL MOMENTO CHE IL GIOCO NON VA COME DA LUI/LEI VOLUTO E PENSATO.
TRONCA E BLOCCA IL CATFISH
Sono persone BUGIARDE E MANIPOLATIVE. Costruiranno intorno a te una catena di bugie e di menzogne. NON SONO REALI E NON SONO QUELLO CHE DICONO DI ESSERE. Appena vedi uno di questi segnali tronca e blocca il catfish e segnalalo al social appartenente.
LA PANDEMIA E IL LOCKDOWN HA AGGRAVATO IL FENOMENO
L’isolamento forzato ha portato milioni di persone a vivere una quotidinità online.
La rete sociale reale si è sfaldata in un momento. Non poter incontrare amici, non poter vivere in luoghi deputati allo svago e all’incontro. Non poter viver il proprio habitat lavorativo reale. Per un lungo periodo tutto questo ha portato le persone a vivere IL VIRTUALE COME REALE. L’OFF-ONLINE era precluso dal COVID e dalle RESTRIZIONI e CHIUSURE.
L’ONLINE è diventato la quotidianità di ognuno di noi.
Molto facile in un periodo come questo per il catfish pescare in rete. Casi molto simili a quello di DANIELE sono passati nello CYBER-SPAZIO. Abbiamo la testimonianza di una donna che ha vissuto le medesime dinamiche. E come lei altri uomini e donne.
Il catfish si insinua e vive solitamente quando una persona è più debole, fragile e sola.
Come diceva ZIGMUNT BAUMAN: FACEBOOK E’ UNA MINIERA D’ORO DI SOLITUDINE.
In questo periodo molti gli utenti che hanno cercato relazioni soprattutto sentimentali nei siti di DATING. TINDER ha avuto un BOOM DI ISCRITTI. Negli Stati Uniti c’è stato un incremento del 12,6% di iscritti all’applicazione. Nel 2020 questo sito di incontri ha raggiunto quota 3 MILIARDI DI ISCRITTI IN UN SINGOLO GIORNO, mentre tutto il mondo intero entrava in lockdown.
Gli effetti della PANDEMIA nelle relazioni più intime hanno portato alla STORIA DI DANIELE, alla storia della donna di cui abbiamo fatto un apposito articolo che vuole restare anonima. E’ stato facile cadere nelle trappole di false identità e falsi profili in questo periodo,
Vivere una relazione completamente online con persone che non si sarebbero mai mostrate e incontrate, che non facevano sentire nemmeno la loro voce. IL GIOCO DEL CATFISH E’ FATTO.

Precedentemente abbiamo pubblicato la testimonianza di una donna che ha vissuto il fenomeno del catfish che vuole aggiungere ancora delle note alla sua esperienza che possano essere utili ad altre persone per proteggersi e difendersi. Riportiamo quanto ci ha rilasciato.
“La storia di Daniele mi ha fatto rivedere quello che ho vissuto anche io con contenuti non poi tanto diversi, sicuramente con meno messaggi scambiati, ma la medesima identica dinamica. Questa persona è nascosta in un profilo sui social, ma a mio parere avrà altri profili visto che successivamente sono stata molestata con tre falsi profili di cui uno all’improvviso ha cambiato nome riportando le iniziali del profilo con cui ho parlato per un anno, una sorta di presa in giro e atto di bullismo. Anche io ho vissuto come Daniele una sorta di tortura psicologica, iniziando con il fatto che questa persona di cui non so la vera identità mi prendeva in giro per il mio modo di scrivere in chat, una modalità sadica per screditarmi e giocare, sono seguiti anche con me spietati silenzi, momenti in cui questa entità era più affettuosa, e altri in cui palesava le sue fantasie perverse. La dinamica vissuta è la stessa di Daniele, per debolezza e fragilità queste persone ti rendono dipendenti, ti manipolano, mentono, mentre tu ti leghi sempre più a loro per ingenuità. Perché sei più onesto e sincero, Loro giocano con la tua vita, quando poi inizi a sospettare perché non si fanno vedere, non fanno sentire la loro voce, cominciano a bloccarti, a tagliare, a distruggerti. Se non stai al loro gioco falso e perverso loro ti distruggono. Possono poi succedere tragedie come quelle di Daniele che portano alla luce queste relazioni malate, tossiche e tutti gli inganni. Il detto le bugie hanno le gambe corte è una verità. In seguito ho scoperto che nel sito dove ho incontrato questo profilo aveva postato tre foto di donne completamente diverse tra loro, una molto vecchia di un’altra persona completamente diversa da quella che diceva di essere, qui abbiamo il primo reato di furto d’identità. Ho compreso che per un anno ho parlato con una persona con chiari disturbi mentali e sessuali. Sono caduta nella trappola ed ora ho intrapreso un percorso terapeutico di cura, anche se questa storia di Daniele ha veramente riaperto una ferita, spero con il tempo di poter sanare questo incontro negativo e sfortunato”.
SMASCHERARE IL CATFISH
Prestare quindi molta attenzione quando in rete possiamo incontrare persone che usano false identità. Tenere a mente tutte le RED FLAGS che abbiamo menzionato sopra.
Infine un modo per poter sconfiggere il catfish è smascherarlo. La loro paura è quella di essere scoperti. Bisogna smascherarli e rendere pubblico il loro piano di inganni e I danni che perpetrano alle vittime. Non avere vergogna, Raccontare la storia che si è vissuta. Lavorare poi a creare pene più certe e sicure. Dare messaggi di impunità non fa che ampliare il fenomeno. Il lavoro da fare sia a livello legale che sociale è ancora molto. Ma un primo inizio è quello di far cadere la maschera delle loro menzogne e raccontarle, non avere paura di questo.
CONCLUSIONI
Bisogna lavorare affinché i catfish e i falsi profili non siano così facile da creare, che venga limitata questa cattiva condotta e se individuata punita severamente, come monito per chi si vuole nascondere e ingannare. SERVE UNA REGOLAMENTAZIONE A LIVELLO EUROPEO che renda il digitale un posto sicuro, vivibile e civile. Questa una proposta che verrà fatta ad EUROPARLAMENTARI disposti a migliorare la rete e il vivere online.
