Dopo mesi di indagini, interrogatori, intercettazioni, il nodo è arrivato al pettine.
La procura di Caltanissetta ha chiesto il rinvio a giudizio per la signora Silvana Saguto, già presidente dell’Ufficio Misure di prevenzione, accusata assieme ad altri 15 imputati, di corruzione, abuso d’ufficio, concussione, truffa aggravata, riciclaggio, dopo una requisitoria durata cinque ore. Saranno invece processati col rito abbreviato i magistrati Tommaso Virga, Fabio Licata e il cancelliere Elio Grimaldi. Tra coloro per cui è stato chiesto il rinvio figurano il padre, il figlio Emanuele e il marito della Saguto, il funzionario della DIA Rosolino Nasca, i docenti universitari Roberto Di Maria e Carmelo Provenzano, assieme ad altri suoi parenti, l’ex prefetto di Palermo Francesca Cannizzo. Posizione stralciata anche per l’altro ex giudice dell’ufficio misure di prevenzione Chiaramonte e per il suo compagno Antonio Ticali, per il quale la procura ha chiesto l’archiviazione, e per l’altro professore universitario Luca Nivarra e rito abbreviato per Cappellano Seminara. Prossima udienza il 6 novembre, con la parola alle parti civili e al collegio di difesa. Inutile soffermarci ancora sull’allegro e criminoso modo, portato avanti dalla Saguto, di mettere sotto sequestro aziende alle quali, in qualche modo spesso solo indiziario, si attribuiva una patente di mafiosità per procedere alla loro requisizione e affidarne la gestione agli avvocati o economisti che facevano parte del cerchio magico. L’amministrazione giudiziaria di questi beni ha arrecato danni irreversibili all’economia siciliana, poiché le aziende sono state smantellate e non più restituite, anche quando i proprietari sono stati penalmente assolti da ogni imputazione.
E proprio oggi arriva la notizia del dissequestro di due aziende finite nel mirino della Saguto, che nel febbraio 2014 ne aveva disposto il sequestro: si tratta della Fattoria Ferla e della Special Fruit, che hanno operato da anni all’interno del settore ortofrutticolo e che oggi, dopo la disamministrazione affidata a Nicola Santangelo, oggi anche lui sotto processo, sono finite in liquidazione, lasciando disoccupati una decina di lavoratori. Le due aziende erano state accusate di essere sotto la protezione del boss dell’Acquasanta Galatolo, nell’ambito di un sequestro di 250 milioni, ma dopo l’attenta valutazione condotta dai magistrati dell’ufficio misure di prevenzione, oggi affidato al nuovo presidente Malizia e ai giudici Luigi Petrucci e Giovanni Francolini, è stato disposto il dissequestro, in quanto non esiste “neanche il sospetto” di infiltrazioni mafiose.
Restano ancora sotto sequestro altri beni ed è in corso il procedimento per il successivo dissequestro.
