Ebano: aiutateci a continuare a sostenere percorsi di accoglienza e liberazione

Appello di Michelangela Barba, presidente dell’associazione che accoglie e sostiene donne vittime di ogni violenza maschile.

L’anno scorso dopo l’inizio dell’offensiva militare russa in territorio ucraino, e l’emergenza umanitaria che le mafie e le reti della schiavitù sessuale stanno sfruttando sin dal primo giorno di questa nuova guerra, la referente di Ebano a Siret, in Romania al confine con l’Ucraina, raccontò cosa stava accadendo alla presidente Michelangela Barba e all’associazione. Che immediatamente denunciò in Italia la situazione e la presenza di trafficanti attivi in quel territorio. Una denuncia che, insieme a quanto stava documentando “Sex Industry is violence”,  giunse, nell’ambito di una approfondita inchiesta che documentò la presenza di italiani in questi criminali traffici di Amalia De Simone, sul servizio pubblico televisivo nella trasmissione “Mi Manda Raitre”. In quelle settimane Ebano lanciò anche una mobilitazione solidale per l’Ucraina che permise di raccogliere molti aiuti per chi stava fuggendo dalla guerra.

Nel solo territorio del comune di Milano sono quattordici gli appartamenti in cui Ebano accoglie donne vittime di violenza maschile. Con difficoltà e costi sempre crescenti. Ciao, sono Michelangela Barba, la presidente di Ebano Onlus, e ti chiedo di contribuire a questa raccolta fondi per continuare l’esperienza di accoglienza che con Ebano portiamo avanti dal 2012.

Abbiamo bisogno di raccogliere 8mila euro entro metà febbraio per far fronte alle spese relative ai canoni e alle utenze dei nostri 14 appartamenti di accoglienza nel Comune di Milano.

In questi anni donne sole, emarginate, vittime di ogni tipo di violenza, mamme con i loro bambini, nuclei familiari multiproblematici hanno trovato un tetto grazie a noi e hanno avuto la possibilità di cominciare una nuova vita.

Tante persone, tante storie ma con una caratteristica in comune: l’impossibilità di accedere alla rete di housing dei servizi sociali.

Senza di noi queste persone non saprebbero dove andare.

Abbiamo 14 appartamenti di accoglienza ma le richieste sono numerosissime e, di conseguenza, lo sono anche le spese… Aiutaci ad andare avanti!

In una videointervista rilasciata nelle scorse ore a WordNews.it Michelangela Barba ha condiviso la testimonianza di questi undici anni di attività di Ebano, si è soffermata su alcune dinamiche dello stupro a pagamento e di come ragazze vengono ingannate e sfruttate – come la tecnica del «lover boy» che WordNews la prima volta nel 2020 intervistando Irene Ciambezi, Comunità Papa Giovanni XXIII, «Questo è il mio corpo», sfruttata sia dalle mafie dell’est Europa che dalle mafie nigeriane – e sull’attuale situazione di difficoltà economica dell’associazione. Negli anni tante mani sono nate da Ebano per aiutare, oggi servono mani che aiutino Ebano. Ad andare avanti, a proseguire i percorsi di accoglienza e sostegno alle liberazioni, mani che aiutino ad aiutare.
