Riina, Pino Maniaci: “Messina Denaro? No, il nuovo capo sarà Leoluca Bagarella”

La morte di Totò Riina “è una festa nazionale”, il suo erede “è Leoluca Bagarella, non Matteo Messina Denaro”. Ne è convinto Pino Maniaci, il cronista antimafia direttore dell’emittente tv siciliana Telejato, finito anche lui sotto inchiesta con l’accusa di estorsione (il 20 novembre la prima udienza).
“Con il mio tg abbiamo cazzeggiato dando i numeri della cabala – ha detto – Il 17, 11, 2017, il 3 e il 37 perché dicono che è morto a quell’ora. E poi il 47 e il 20, per una bella cinquina vincente”. Maniaci si fa però più serio quando torna a parlare del futuro: “Per la mafia morto un Papa se ne fa un altro. La mafia aspettava questa dipartita per poter riunire la commissione, che non lo faceva da 24 anni, cioè da quando hanno arrestato Riina, per poter rinnovare i vertici di Cosa nostra”.
Per Maniaci “l’erede di Riina è Leoluca Bagarella, il fratello di Ninetta. E non Mattia Messina Denaro”. E ancora: “Che la mafia abbia subito duri colpi è evidente a tutti. Che la mafia sia allo sbando è sotto occhio di tutti. Ora vediamo che succede, la mafia ha subito ma non è vinta. La mafia non è morta, anche se Riina non c’è più”.
La Sicilia, continua il direttore della emittente siciliana, “è formata da 5 milioni di persone, i mafiosi sono 5mila pezzi di merda, che insieme fanno una montagna di merda come diceva Peppino Impastato. Per 5mila malavitosi, questa terra non può essere sempre etichettata allo stesso modo”.
Ma in Sicilia c’è ancora un’aria “di paura, di omertà. Quando andiamo a Corleone per intervistare la gente, tutti scappano, nessuno sa niente. C’è ancora tanta paura, tanta omertà. Ci sono anche persone che alzano la testa, che cercano di uscire dall’essere soggiogati, ma ancora vale il fatti i cazzi tuoi e campi in pace. Oggi la Sicilia si è tolta un peso dallo stomaco, non c’è più questo capo carismatico, la figura che ha lacerato questa terra, ma c’è sempre pericolo e la domanda di chi sarà il prossimo”.
